If you're looking for a solid sandwich, made in-house with fresh meat this is the place to go. I simply love their filet mignon and soujouk sandwiches. They're a nice size, consistently well prepared and always hits the spot. What tasty tender meat.... *drool*
They offer far more than sandwiches. They have salads and meat plates. You can even order BBQ of your choice by the pound. Something I plan to enjoy one day! -

What? I'm the first to review Massis? I really was surprised by this since Chomedey is known to be one of the municipalities that's home to a large number of Armenians and middle eastern people. Hmmm, may be they have better things to do than write about food Harry.
Chomedey is not short of middle eastern spots where one can enjoy their tasty rich food. I for one am an eternally attracted bee to this cuisine from A to Z on the menu. Any day that I find myself lost in the vast choices of food out there and can't decide on one, I often end up having a shish-taouk sandwich that always ends up being a good decision for my tastebuds.
Ok, so this is an Armenian family owned small establishment where it does the trick and more in terms of fixing your middle eastern/Armenian food craving on the go. I always come here for their delicious soujuk (Armenian sausage) sandwich since this is their specialty and always ask them to make it extra spicy. Don't get me wrong, the other stuff like the main 3 kebabs are off the charts also in terms of taste, tenderness and overall quality and which I ordered a few times in the past by kilo for the family. So far it'd be at par if not better than Boucherie Rayan down the street. Come to think of it, I think Massis is my #1, Rayan #2.
Everything here is cooked on charcoal which gives their food an extra authenticity. Some say they don't find a difference in taste between charcoal and gas cooked food but a connaisseur's opinion will differ from the rest.
The place is not small nor big. It doesn't have to be big because it's very casual and not meant for large groups nor for formal evening outings. Clean, modern and..... just normal, no bells and whistles bcs their main highlight is their high quality food.
Long story short, highly recommended, they're experts in their domain, you won't regret giving them a try. Enjoy
